I was the Social Media Chair for the Saint Louis University (SLU) Dance Team for the 2020-2021 school year. We previously shared social media accounts with the cheer team, so getting the position at this time gave me the unique opportunity to build our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter presence from the ground up. My responsibilities included developing our brand identity, graphic design for our logo and stories using Adobe Creative Suite, content creation and iPhone photography, copywriting, campaign development and management, and organic follower acquisition. In the first six months, the Instagram following grew organically from 0 to over 1,300 followers, surpassing the SLU Cheer account that was started in 2015.
